چکیده

To investigate the clinical efficacy of laparoscopic-assisted and laparotomy D2 radical total gastrectomy for advanced gastric cancer. From January 2014 to 2015, 81 patients with cancer were divided into study group A (n=41) therapy B (n=40) according different surgical methods. Postoperative followup was 60 mo. Perioperative period indicators, curative effect complications recorded compared between two groups. The operation time significantly longer than that B. hospital stay, intraoperative blood loss, incision length intestinal function recovery less difference had statistical significance (p<0.05). Compared B, number lymph node dissection, positive nodes average survival in rate metastasis, distance from distal resection margin proximal large, but no (p>0.05). recurrence Laparoscopic-assisted treatment is invasive, has a shorter outcome lymphadenectomy comparable those laparotomy.

Hand-assisted laparoscopic versus laparoscopic-assisted radical gastrectomy for advanced gastric cancer: a prospective randomized study

Objective: To compare the treatment outcomes of hand-assisted laparoscopic surgery (HALS) versus laparoscopic-assisted surgery (LAS) in radical gastrectomy for advanced distal gastric cancer. Methods: The prospective randomized control study was carried out to compare the short-term and long-term outcomes of the 124 patients who underwent radical treatment for advanced distal gastric cancer fro...

Comparative study of clinical efficacy of laparoscopy-assisted radical gastrectomy versus open radical gastrectomy for advanced gastric cancer.

The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy of laparoscopy-assisted radical gastrectomy (LARG) versus that of open radical gastrectomy (ORG). Clinical data of 355 patients who underwent radical gastrectomy (160 in the LARG group and 195 in the ORG group) were analyzed retrospectively. Efficacy indices were compared and analyzed between the two groups. The operating time of LARG was lon...

A novel hand-assisted approach for laparoscopic D2 radical gastrectomy for gastric cardia cancer patients

We designed a hand-assisted device for laparoscopic D2 dissection for gastric cancer that allows the placement in peritoneal cavity of surgical instrument and the entry and maneuvering of the left hand of a surgeon. Here, we describe the surgical technique for radical resection of gastric cardia cancer using the hand-assisted laparoscopic technique. Our preliminary experience with three gastric...

Laparoscopic assisted total gastrectomy for gastric cancer – operative technique

For many years, open gastrectomy with lymphadenectomy was the gold standard treatment for gastric cancer. In recent years, however, laparoscopic assisted total gastrectomy with associated D2 lymphadenectomy has gained in popularity. It has a similar oncological outcome to open resection, but has all of the added advantages of a laparoscopic procedure, such as early mobilisation, less postoperat...

Prophylactic Laparoscopic-Assisted Total Gastrectomy for Hereditary Diffuse Gastric Cancer

BACKGROUND Ten percent of gastric cancer (GC) cases are familial, with one third resulting from a mutation in the tumor suppressor gene CDH1. Loss of this important structure can result in hereditary diffuse gastric cancer (HDGC), which carries a high mortality if early diagnosis is not made. Despite its clear genetic origin, optimal management of HDGC family members is controversial, as the ut...
